Five costing methods, one for every business
Adm Cloud values your inventory with the method that best fits your operation and your country's standards. Costs are recalculated automatically with every movement and reflected instantly in your accounting.
Average cost
The cost is weighted across all of the company's stock. Simple and stable, ideal for most businesses.
Average by location
Calculates an independent average cost in each warehouse, useful when costs vary by area or branch.
First in, first out
Units are issued at the cost of the oldest layers. Recommended for perishable or expiring products.
Last in, first out
Units are issued at the cost of the most recent layers, for scenarios where the operation requires it.
Average by serial number
Each unit keeps its own cost through its serial number: full unit-level cost traceability.

Receive the goods
Record the receipt against the purchase order. Capture serials, lots or expiration dates and add the stock to the corresponding location.

Cost and store
The cost is updated according to your method (average, FIFO…) and —if you imported— the import expenses are allocated to it. Put the product away in its bin.

Reserve and transfer
Allocate stock to orders, transfer between locations or bins, and plan reorders based on minimum levels and demand plans.

Can I manage multiple warehouses and branches?
Yes. You can create as many locations as you need and, within each one, bin locations to physically organize the goods. You check stock by location, by bin or consolidated, and move stock between them with controlled transfers.
Which costing method does Adm Cloud use?
Whichever you choose for your company: average cost, average by location, FIFO, LIFO or average by serial number. The cost is recalculated automatically with every movement and reflected immediately in accounting.
Can I track products by serial number or lot?
Yes. Items can be managed by serial number (each individual unit) or by lot with an expiration date. You get reports of serials in stock and movements by serial for complete traceability.
How do I handle the costs of an import?
With the imports process (landed cost) you allocate freight, insurance, duties and other expenses across the items received, so the inventory cost reflects the true cost of bringing in the goods. It includes settlement reports and documents pending settlement.
Does inventory connect with purchasing, sales and accounting?
Completely. Receipts originate from purchase orders, shipments from sales orders, and every movement generates its automatic accounting entry. A single record keeps your entire company up to date, with no double entry.
How do I reconcile my stock with what is in the warehouse?
With the physical count you record what is actually there and Adm Cloud helps you generate the necessary adjustments. You also have inventory adjustments with or without costs and the negative transaction history to control discrepancies.
